Hamlet Centre Adult Services
The Hamlet Centre at Ella Road is a place where people with disabilities can develop their full potential and learn to be as independent as possible. With support from their key workers, students select their own timetable from a wide range of courses on offer, including basic education, personal development and independent living as well as leisure and art activities. A popular and lively befriending scheme offers social activities in the evenings and weekends.
Hamlet Centre Children’s Services
The Children’s Services are now based at Johnson Place in Vauxhall Street. We are well known in Norfolk for its activities for children with disabilities, and were described by a senior member of staff at Social Services as ‘a centre of excellence’. A lively, committed and talented staff team brings a wide variety of exciting activities to the children, including holiday play schemes and the ever popular Toy Library.
