What
Is Friends Of The Hamlet Centre Trust?
Like all charities we are continually having to raise money!!!
We receive about 65% of our income from Norfolk Social
Services, Primary Care Trusts and Education. This still leaves us
with well over £100,000 to raise each year.
At the AGM in July 2005 we launched our Friends Scheme. This
would give us a regular annual contribution towards this sum, at
the same time allowing us to keep in contact with our supporters.
Who Might Join?
People who have or have had a connection in some way with the
Hamlet Centre Trust.
People in the community who want to support a local charity
which strives to assist children and young people with
disabilities to achieve as good a quality of life as possible.
We must stress that membership of the scheme is completely
separate from the provision of services
How Does The Scheme Work?
T he
Scheme invites you to pay a membership fee of £10 a year and in
return you will receive information about what is happening at the
Hamlet Centre Trust and invitations to all events.
In addition, or instead of, you could make an annual donation.
Your membership and/or donation can be
Gift Aided
if
you are a UK taxpayer. This means for every £1 you donate we can
claim 28p from the Inland Revenue. This is known as tax efficient
giving!!
You can pay through a Bankers Order or you can be invoiced
every December.
